In this project, we converted a small existing deck into a spacious and welcoming screen porch, offering the homeowners a comfortable outdoor living area for leisure and socializing. The renovation included replacing the rear bay windows with 12-foot double doors, seamlessly connecting the porch to the adjacent family room.
A standout feature of the new screen porch was a freestanding stone fireplace, featuring a custom wood mantle and a stone veneer chimney. The mantle was installed into the chimney using limestone, serving as a focal point for the porch and providing warmth and ambiance for extended use during cooler seasons.
To enhance the porch's functionality, we designed the fireplace area to accommodate an outdoor TV, allowing homeowners to enjoy entertainment while surrounded by nature.
Overall, the screen porch addition has enhanced the homeowners' outdoor living experience, creating a cozy and inviting space for relaxation, entertainment, and connection with the natural surroundings throughout the year.
