Structural Planning & Engineering

The covered porch framing, skylight installation, and tiered deck system demanded precise engineering to ensure long-term durability and proper load support. Drainage, flashing, and integration with the existing structure were carefully planned to protect the home while expanding usable square footage outdoors.
A Silca-Grate structural deck system was installed and finished with 24"x24" Arterra Bluestone porcelain pavers, delivering the aesthetic of stone with the structural integrity required for elevated deck construction.
Exterior Renovation & Architectural Upgrades
Beyond the outdoor living expansion, the project included a full exterior facelift. New Marvin energy-efficient windows were installed throughout the home, along with CertainTeed CedarBoards insulated vinyl siding to enhance curb appeal and thermal performance. Custom PVC trim detailing was applied to a three-story rear bump-out, creating a clean, cohesive architectural finish.
The outdoor fireplace lounge now anchors the space, providing a focal point for evening gatherings and extending the usability of the backyard through multiple seasons.
