This project focused on expanding the small existing kitchen at the rear of the house into a larger space, incorporating a family room and exterior deck. We achieved this by removing the back wall and expanding the area by approximately 300 sq ft. The new addition was meticulously designed to accommodate a large, modern kitchen with ample counter space, storage, and state-of-the-art appliances.
To achieve this, we installed white Shiloh cabinets with a combination of knobs and pulls, quartz countertops, tile backsplash and silver fixtures to enhance the overall aesthetic. A wet bar was also incorporated into the dining area, featuring ample cabinet space and a built-in wine cooler for convenience.
The family room was made complete with a cozy stone fireplace, creating an inviting atmosphere for relaxation and socializing. Furthermore, the replacement of the previous flooring with hardwood floors gave the space a refreshed look and tied the renovation together.
To enhance the outdoor living space, a new deck using composite material was added off the side of the newly constructed addition, providing an outdoor retreat for dining, entertaining, and enjoying the surrounding scenery. The major renovations in the home fostered an environment that is perfectly suited for modern living and cherished moments with family and friends.
